Terms & Conditions of Sale

Please note that if you go ahead and use our services, we will assume that you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions of sale, as set out by this document.

  1. Compatible Toner Cartridges are made ready by order. Therefore, no refunds claims will be considered for items that have been opened or used. Only the warranty will apply and if the item is covered by our carry-in warranty. The unit may be returned to us for repairs at the customer’s expense.
  2. All compatible toner cartridges carry a 30-day carry-in warranty. In case of fault, customers arrange/pay for courier/transportation costs for collection and delivery.
  3. All goods and products will remain the property of Talon Tek Pty Ltd until fully paid.
  4. We will accept back goods for refund within 30 days after purchase.
  5. No refunds will be given after 30 days of purchase. Only store credit or exchange will be permitted.
  6. No returns after 30 days of purchase will be made.
  7. No toners/cartridges that are empty or have less than 90% toner remaining will be eligible for refund, exchange or credit.

Procedure to return faulty or incorrect goods.

  1. Please explain the problem you are experiencing clearly in your message.
  2. Please include clear pictures of the problem. For example, if there is an error message on the screen of the printer, or quality issues.
  3. If there is toner leaking out of a cartridge or a part missing or broken, please take a picture of the exact problem. Please assist us to resolve your problem as fast as possible by providing good examples of the above-mentioned requirements.
  4. In most cases the incorrect/faulty stock will first have to be returned to the warehouse for testing/inspection before the replacement order can be issued.

Payments and Proof of Payments.

  1. In the case of offline bulk/custom orders, payment has been confirmed by our accounts department. Your order will be released for delivery. Proof of payment should be mailed to admin@talontek.co.za
  2. Talon Tek banks with Capitec. Payments from other banks will only be processed once funds reflect in our account. Should you need urgent delivery. Please make an instant payment so that funds will clear faster.
  3. You will receive an email to confirm that we have received your order and payment and that we are completing your request.

Deliveries and Couriers.

  1. We use courier companies to deliver our goods nationwide.
  2. We process orders immediately upon receipt and payment confirmation.
  3. A flat delivery fee of R110 applies to all orders, regardless of size or location within South Africa (at the sole discrepancy of the courier service used) This fee covers standard courier services and is non-refundable.
  4. We cannot, however, make any promises as to when exactly deliveries will take place. As we have no control over the courier companies’ drivers and schedules. Standard delivery times are 2-5 business days, depending on your location. For deliveries of new copiers, the company we use will happily deliver to the stated address, however, will not unbox at all or carry any machinery upstairs at the clients premises.
  5. If deliveries are very urgent. Special services like overnight; early bird or same day express (where available) are offered by the courier companies at additional cost to you. Please contact us for a quote should you require any such services.
  6. Deliveries might take longer than expected. Talon Tek Pty Ltd will in no way be held responsible for damages directly or indirectly caused by any product we sell, or deliveries that might be delayed for whatsoever reason.
  7. Talon Tek Pty Ltd cannot be held responsible for any loss due to theft, hijacking, fire or any other loss or damage to any goods whatsoever.
  8. Customers should take out their own insurance. Alternatively, they can obtain quotes for insurance at an additional cost from our order processing department.

TIPS Program (Talon Incentivized Profit Sharing)

  1. By making a purchase on our website, you are automatically entered into our monthly TIPS draw. Regardless of the amount you spent.
  2. Each month, one randomly selected customer who has completed a purchase during that calendar month will win 5% of Talon Tek’s total monthly profits (after expenses, taxes, and deductions).
  3. The winner will be notified via email and/or WhatsApp within the first 5 business days of the following month. If unreachable, an alternate winner will be drawn.
  4. The prize is non-transferable and must be claimed within 30 days. Unclaimed prizes will be rolled over to the next month’s draw. The amount to be paid out will be done via EFT.
  5. Participation is free with any purchase; no additional entry is required. Talon Tek reserves the right to verify purchases and disqualify fraudulent entries.
  6. Profits are calculated based on Talon Tek’s internal records.  All tax implications are the responsibility of the winner.

General Provisions

  1. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
  2. Talon Tek Pty Ltd reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and apply to orders placed after the update date.
  3. If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
  4. Your use of our website constitutes acceptance of our Privacy Policy
